Company Background

JB Hi-Fi Ltd. engages in the retailing of home consumer products from stand-alone destination sites, shopping center locations, and online stores. It operates through the following segments: JB Hi-Fi Australia (JB Aust), JB Hi-Fi New Zealand (JB NZ), and The Good Guys (TGG). The firm offers a wide range of brands with particular focus on consumer electronics, software, whitegoods and appliances. The company was founded by John Barbuto in 1974 and is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia.
