Company Background

Bangkok Land Public Co. Ltd. engages in the business of property development. It operates through the following segments: Real Estate; Exhibition, Convention, and Hotel; Retail; Infrastructure and Building Management; and Others. The Real Estate segment develops residential housings and commercial properties for sale and rental. The Exhibition, Convention, and Hotel segment offers venues with a full range of facilities and services where government, private corporations, and individuals can hold exhibitions, conventions, and different kinds of activities such as concerts, entertainment shows, parties, receptions, and examinations. The Retail segment consists of small retail shops, food courts, fresh food market, and car parks operated by the company. The Infrastructure and Building Management segment covers infrastructure and building management, landscaping, and waste treatment in the large scale community projects of the group. The Others segment includes Bangkok Land (Cayman Islands) Limited, which raises fund for the company by issuing currency bonds to investors. The company was founded by Direk Mahadamrongkul on April 19, 1973 and is headquartered in Nonthanburi, Thailand.
