Practical Use of Technical Indicators

Practical Use of Technical Indicators

Active traders often identify high probability entry and exit trade points with the help of technical indicators and overlays. With the many technical indicators available in the different trading platforms, it is essential for us to know the right indicator(s) to use under the different market conditions. The inappropriate use of technical indicators will result in the identification of inaccurate trade points, thus leading to investment losses.

In this seminar, you will learn the selection of the right indicator(s) and overlay(s) to time your trades in the different market conditions. Actual case studies of counters in the Singapore Exchange (SGX) will be used to illustrate the application of the technical indicators and overlays in our day-to-day trading. We will also share with you the methods to customise the use of the indicators according to your own trading pattern. In addition, you will also learn about the Contract For Difference(CFD) instrument, how it can be used for your shares trading and understanding the risks and advantages of using CFD.

Advanced order types can be used for trading stop-loss and the purchase of shares during price breakout. Coupled with the technical indicators and overlays, your trading profits will be increased. We will demonstrate how you can time your trades with the advanced order types.
