Company Background

Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust is a Singapore real estate investment trust established with the investment strategy of principally investing, directly or indirectly, in a diversified portfolio of income-producing real estate in the Greater China region which is used primarily for commercial purposes (including real estate used predominantly for retail and/or office purposes), as well as real estate-related assets. Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust Management Ltd. is the manager of Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust.

Following the completion of the acquisition of an effective interest of 98.47% in a portfolio of six freehold commercial real estate assets located in Tokyo, Chiba and Yokohama, Japan, the investment mandate for MGCCT would be expanded to include investments in income-producing commercial real estate assets in Japan. The REIT has changed from “Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust” to “Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust” and the name of the Manager has changed from “Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust Management Ltd.” to “Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust Management Ltd.” with effect from 25 May 2018.

Trading under new name with effect from 31 May 2018.
