Company Background

Listed on SGX Mainboard in 2007, Unionmet (Singapore) Limited provides services in
(i) manufacturing and trading of non-ferrous metals comprising indium ingots, and their related by-products such as zinc ingots, zinc sheets, zinc carbonate, zinc sulphates and rotary kiln powder; and
(ii) the trading of
(a) ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals;
(b) kaolin and barite; and
(c) coal and coke.

The Group's production facilities are located in Liuzhou, Guangxi is equipped to produce 25MT of high purity indium ingots (up to 99.9999% or 6N) annually. Its indium ingots are sold overseas to countries including Korea, Japan, Europe, PRC, Hong Kong and the USA under its "Intai" brand name. Its customers include Marubeni Corporation and Wogen Resources Ltd.

With the diversification into Oil Blending Business and Property Development Business, the Group's name has been changed from "Unionmet (Singapore) Limited" to "USP Group Limited" with effect from 2 March 2015 where "U" represents the original name "Unionmet", "S" represents Singapore and "P" represents both property and petroleum.

Oil Blending Business will undertake the business relating to:
(a) leasing, acquiring and building production and storage facilities in Singapore and the PRC;
(b) acquiring and purchasing oil blending related entities, technology, patents, machinery, equipment, feedstock and materials for the Oil Blending Business;
(c) blending, producing, marketing, as well as sale and distribution of blended diesel and engine oil; and
(d) blending, producing, marketing, as well as sale and distribution of blended additives and equipment.
(e) ancillary business activities:
(i) reprocessing renewable energy products such as biochemical, biofuel and emulsified fuel (composed of water and a combustible liquid, either oil or a fuel); and
(ii) blending, marketing as well as sale and distribution of the reprocessed renewable energy products and related equipment.

With a focus on property opportunities in Singapore, Property Development Business will undertake the business relating to:
(i) the undertaking of property development activities. This would include, inter alia, the acquisition, development and/or sales of residential and commercial and any other types of properties including mixed development properties which the Group may deem suitable;
(ii) acquiring and holding investments in properties. This would include, inter alia acquisitions with a view of holding properties for long-term investment, capital appreciation, and rental income;
(iii) property management;
(iv) trading in properties with reasonable yield and/or capital growth potential; and
(v) investing, acquiring or disposing of, or trading from time to time in shares and/or interests in any entity that is in the business of property development, investment and/ or trading.

Change of Name: Unionmet (Singapore) Limited to USP Group Limited.
Trading under the new name with effect from 5 March 2015.
