Company Background

Sunshine Wholesale Mart Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Suiwah Corporation Bhd, a listed company on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 1995. Chaired by Penang's former Chief Minister Tun Dato� Seri Utama Dr. Lim Chong Eu, with Dato' Hwang Thean Long as the Managing Director the company was transferred to the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in year 2005. The Group's core business segment comprises a massive retail chain its beginning back to 1961 when it opened its first neighbourhood general merchant in Air Itam. Since then, we have expanded to include Sunshine Square, a pioneer departmental store and supermarket in Bayan Baru, Sunshine Farlim Shopping Mall, Sunshine Farlim Wholesale Centre, Sunshine Lip Sin and Sunshine City at Penang Times Square. The group also has a chain of convenient stores in multi-national companies like Kobe, Agilent and ASE to better serve the community.
