Company Background

GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad (GLM), formerly known as Hong Leong Properties Berhad, is an investment holding company and provides management services. The Company operates through its subsidiaries, and its projects include residential and commercial developments in the Klang Valley. GLM's business segments include property investment and development, engaged in the development of residential properties for sale, and commercial properties for sale and rental; hotels, involved in the management and operations of hotels; plantation, engaged in the operation of oil palm estates and sale of fresh fruit bunches, and other, which includes the provision of management services and trading securities. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2005, the Company acquired Hong Leong Property Management Co Sdn. Bhd., Hong Leong Property Services Sdn. Bhd. and Guoman International Limited. On 11 July 2005, GLM acquired Premiumview Development Sdn Bhd.
